Hospital faculty and staff are committed to career-long learning, peer teaching, and trainee teaching. The Division of Faculty Development in Taipei Veterans General Hospital takes pride in creating and delivering professional development that develops and nurtures our diverse faculty as leaders in clinical care, medical education, research excellence, the highest possible quality of patient care and system improvements. 

In a bid to approach the goal, the division develops and designs six core courses for either medical professionals or on-the-job training students that consist of Teaching Skills, Research Skills, Cooperative Leadership, Evidence-based Medicine(EBM), Medical Ethics and Legislation, and Competentcy-based Medical Education. Each course divides into various subjects to serve different purposes for both advanced clinical lecturers and healthcare students.
