Children with developmental concerns will be examined first by one of the related physicians and referred to conjoint clinic of developmental assessment on Wednesday morning for comprehensive evaluation. Functional assessment including gross and fine motor skill, communication skill and psychosocial function, family function and special education needs will be arranged thereafter. A professional meeting will be held before completion of assessment report for every single case. The report given to parents will elaborate in detail the results of functional evaluation, etiology and diagnosis if possible, and recommendations for further management and school placement if indicated.
