摘要

　　美國臨床研究專業人員協會年會(The Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) ( https://www.acrpnet. org/about/) 是美國最具權威的國際臨床研究專業人員協會，13,000位會員遍及全美及世界70多個國家/地區的醫療相關產業，藉著教育訓練界定臨床研究專業的最高標準，因為具有業界的公信力，因此定期舉辦認證考試，包括CCRC® (Certified Clinical Research Coordinator), CCRA® (Certified Clinical Research Associate), and CPI® (Certified Principal Investigator). 除了教育訓練與認證考試之外，每年從眾多優秀臨床研究專業人員中選拔頂尖者給予五類不同獎牌: Outstanding Leadership in Clinical Research by a Principal Investigator、Outstanding Leadership in Clinical Research by a Clinical Research Coordinator、Advancing Public Awareness in Clinical Research、Innovation in Clinical Research，本人今年能在眾多角逐者中獲選Outstanding Leadership in Clinical Research by a Principal Investigator獎項是很大的殊榮，能為國人爭光，深感榮幸。

一、目的

　　美國臨床研究專業人員協會年會(The Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) ( https://www.acrpnet. org/about/)) 是美國最具權威的國際臨床研究專業人員協會，目前有13,000位會員，遍及全美及世界70多個國家/地區的醫療相關產業各個角落，包括第一線參與臨床試驗的醫師、護理師、協調人員、稽核人員、臨床試驗公司員工、專案管理師、統計人員、生技公司及大藥廠臨床試驗研發相關人員…等等。

　　藉著教育訓練界定臨床研究專業的最高標準，因為具有業界的公信力，因此定期舉辦認證考試，包括CCRC® (Certified Clinical Research Coordinator), CCRA® (Certified Clinical Research Associate), and CPI® (Certified Principal Investigator).

二、過程

　　本人自2009年起便通過ACRP認證成為國內少數的Certified Principal Investigator (CPI)。在獲知可以申請參加競爭後，在2016年九月開始準備資料，遞送簡歷、自傳、推薦信、競選事蹟說明、競選事蹟佐證---等等。感謝國際臨床研究專業人員協會 中國及亞太區分會(The China & Asia-Pacific Chapter of ACRP(https://acrpcap.org/ about/))主席Joanna Louie (呂群超藥學博士)及Ryan Chang先生(President of Steminent Biotherapeutics)大力撰寫推薦信，2016年底ACRP的the Awards & Recognition Committee開會討論，經過層層篩選，從眾多參選者中最後獲選的人，經過ACRP的Board of Trustees同意後，在2017年1月底通知獲選者。

三、心得

　　除了教育訓練與認證考試之外，美國臨床研究專業人員協會每年從眾多優秀臨床研究專業人員中選拔頂尖者給予七類不同獎項: 1) Outstanding Leadership in Clinical Research by a Principal Investigator、2) Outstanding Leadership in Clinical Research by a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC)、3) Outstanding Leadership in Clinical Research by a Clinical Research Associate (CRA)、4) Outstanding Leadership in Clinical Research by a Project Manager、5) Advancing Public Awareness in Clinical Research、6) Innovation in Clinical Research、7) William C. Waggoner Distinguished Service，本人今年首次申請就僥倖能在眾多角逐者中獲選Outstanding Leadership in Clinical Research by a Principal Investigator獎項，是很大的殊榮，能為國人爭光，深感榮幸。美國臨床研究專業人員協會除了在大會中頒贈獎座、發布新聞稿宣揚得獎者的努力事蹟之外，還提供免年會註冊費及免一年會員費的優待，鼓勵得獎者維持優異的表現，在臨床試驗的領域繼續成為表率。

四、 建議事項

　　國內目前對於臨床研究專業人員著重於管理及規範，缺乏鼓勵與誘導的機制，防弊重於興利，甚為可惜；若能設立類似的獎勵及獎項，鼓勵國內的臨床研究專業人員充實專業技能，為高品質的臨床研究更多貢獻心力，相信對於台灣能成為生物科技大國應當有非常大的幫助。
