Hospice

Hospice care provides compassionate care for those facing life-limiting illness and maintain their quality of life with dignity till the last day. It involves a team-oriented approach to experts in medical care, pain management, and emotional and spiritual support expressly tailored to the patient's needs and wishes, as well as providing supports to their family members. Our main focuses are on caring the patient instead of curing their illness. We provide hospice care not only in the hospital setting, but also at patient’s home.

Da-Der Ward, the palliative ward at the Veteran’s General Hospital was established in 1997. Our team of health care professionals and volunteers provides medical, psychological, and spiritual support.
