2016臺北榮總國際醫學教育研討會 — 明日教師及跨領域醫學教育
簡介：
臨床醫學教育最關鍵的，不單僅是課程或是評量的方式，而是教師的教學能力。因此，國內外各大醫院或醫學院都紛紛設立教師培育單位已提昇教師的教學能力。過去的經驗告訴我們，要達到良好的成效，我們應該更致力發展未來的臨床教師的教學能力培育，而非僅著眼於著主治醫師或是資深臨床教師的訓練。如何訓練這些本身還在接受專業訓練中的學員發展教學能力，及如何評估這類活動的成效是非常重要但長久以來較被醫學教育界忽略的主題。
此外，醫學教育最近也強調必須導入全人照護的概念。跨領域教學被認為是達成全人照護的一個重要策略。國內外關於跨領域教學的策略、新方法及研究結果在過去幾年來則是醫學教育界的熱門主題。
有鑑於此，台北榮總今年度的醫學教育研討會，將邀請國內外醫學教育學者專家，針對如何培育學員的教學能力以養成明日的教師及跨領域教學這兩個相當重要的主題，分享寶貴的經驗，最新的發展並共同展望未來。
研討會將透過工作坊（第一天：11月19日）及演講（第二天：11月20日）的方式進行，相信您的參與及討論，將可以為本次研討會激盪出更多火花，讓台灣的醫學教育可以設計出更有競爭力的臨床訓練課程，並培育出符合新世代需求的醫療專業人才。
Tomorrow’s Teachers and Interprofessional Education ─ The International Symposium of Medical Education, at Taipei Veterans General Hospital, 2016
Introduction:
The success of clinical education relies heavily on the teaching competence of clinical teachers, not only limited to the teaching programs or the kinds of assessments. In the past years, a great number of medical colleges and teaching hospitals in Taiwan have established their faculty development centers aiming to improve the proficiency of clinical teaching. However, to maximize the effect of faculty development, planners should pay more attention to younger faculties; namely, teachers-to-be such as residents as teachers. To design the activities for these trainee teachers and to evaluate the effectiveness of these activities turns into a very important element but has long been ignored in the forum of modern medical education.
On the other hand, interprofessional education (IPE) is emerging as a pivotal way for holistic health care and catches stakeholders’ eyes. In recent years, marked advances in IPE, including strategy, curriculum and effectiveness evaluation, deserve our intention and are included as the important agenda of this symposium.
The “International Symposium of Medical Education, 2016” sponsored by Taipei VGH will invite worldwide reputed experts to share their valuable experiences in the afore-mentioned two topics, as are critical for the success of faculty development.
On the first day of the conference (Nov. 19, Sat), there will be parallel workshops for interactive discussions and share of experiences in some innovative strategies underway. Following the workshop, we will invite the international and domestic speakers to give lectures on the 2nd day of the conference (Nov. 20, Sun). We are hoping that, through your participation and contribution, we can work out more creative and practical strategies for clinical education to nurture more competent healthcare professionals as teachers.
