History
The Center for Quality Management of Taipei Veterans General Hospital was established in 2007 in accordance with Article 62 of the Medical Care Act and Article 42 of Enforcement Rules of Medical Care Act.

The main mission of QMC is to plan and integrate the hospital medical quality management. Including review and assess the quality of care planning, execution of the management plan. QMC under the supervision of Quality of Medical Care and Patients Safety Committee, and committed to enhancing the quality of medical care and to promote patient safety.

Tasks
1.To achieve the resolutions of "Quality of Medical Care and Patients Safety Committee".
2.To monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality of care and patient safety promotion program.

3.To assist each departments of this hospital (medical, nursing and medical quality control units) to improve their medical quality.
4.To set up hospital medical quality and patient safety policy by needs of the people.
5.To promote and take part in national activities to enhance the quality of medical care and patient safety.
