| one. | The library of Taipei Veterans General Hospital has formulated the book mutual loan regulations (hereinafter referred to as the regulations) in order to facilitate readers to engage in inter-library book loan through the libraries of both employers to facilitate teaching and research. |
| two.

The scope of application of these regulations: 1. Hospitals that have signed a construction and education cooperation contract with the hospital (limited to hospitals above the level of regional hospitals approved by the Department of Health) and medical schools (limited to medical schools above junior colleges) 2. Honors affiliated to the counseling association People's Hospital |
| three. | Both parties may separately determine the number of library cards to be exchanged according to the number of readers served. |
| Four. | The exchanged library cards shall be kept by the libraries of both parties for readers to use. |
| five. | The library cards exchanged between the two parties are only used for the mutual loan of books and shall not be used for other purposes (or for other certification purposes). |
| six. | Borrowing books should abide by the relevant regulations of the library of the other party, otherwise, the borrowing right can be cancelled, and the library where the library card holder works can be notified. |
| seven. | Borrowed books should be returned on time. If any books are not returned within the time limit, responsibilities such as recall, fines, and loss compensation shall be borne by the library where the staff member works. |
| eight. | If the book cannot be returned after two months overdue, the library where the borrower works shall be responsible for compensation in accordance with the book loss compensation regulations of the other party. |
| Nine. | The library where the reader works should inquire whether the reader has paid off the books borrowed from the other library by telephone or fax (based on the principle of immediate processing) when the reader leaves the job, and can only go through the resignation procedure after the borrowed books are paid off Otherwise, the library where the reader works is responsible for compensation. |
| ten. | Readers who apply for a library card when they lose their library card should immediately notify the library of the employer, and the library will immediately notify the other library. If there is any fraudulent use, the library where the reader works should be responsible. |
| eleven. | Due to the special needs of the libraries of both parties, the borrowed books have the right to recall at any time. |
| twelve. | In order to implement this provision, each library shall formulate relevant management regulations on its own. |
| Thirteen. | After the implementation of these regulations, if the institution to which the mutual loan library belongs does not meet the scope of application for any reason, it may stop the mutual loan of books at any time. |
| fourteen. | If there is any inconsistency in this provision after its implementation, it may be amended or abolished by mutual agreement. |
| fifteen. | This provision will come into effect after the libraries of both parties submit it to the superior unit for approval, and the same will be true when it is amended. |
