| one. | Applicable objects: All branches of the hospital and colleagues in Taichung, Kaohsiung Veterans General and all branches. |
| two. | 2. Service methods: (1) Borrowing and returning by the library: 1. The personnel in charge designated by the library of each hospital are responsible for the borrowing and returning of materials by the colleagues of the affiliated hospital. The borrowed books must be returned by the library. If it is lost, the person in charge should call it back, collect a fine, handle loss compensation and other matters, and the above-mentioned money should be handed over to the library of Taipei Veterans General Hospital. 2. Application method: The person in charge of the library of each hospital shall submit an application to the organizer of the library of the hospital by E-mail during normal working hours from Monday to Friday. The borrowed and returned books will be delivered by the shuttle bus or express company , if shipping fee is required, the applicant shall pay for it. (2) Readers borrow books by themselves: 1. The library of the hospital provides 5 library cards for each hospital, and the library of each hospital is responsible for keeping them and providing them for readers to borrow. Readers need to go to the library of the hospital to borrow and return books by themselves. 2. Readers can return the books borrowed by the library card by the library of each hospital, but they need to bear the shipping fee. The book return date is based on the collection date of the collection library. If it is overdue, the person in charge of the library of the hospital shall collect a fine, and the above-mentioned money shall be handed over to the library of the hospital. 3. The library of the institution where the reader works should immediately inquire whether the borrower has paid off the books borrowed from the library of the library when the borrower leaves the job. The library where the student works is responsible for compensation. |
| three. | 3. Borrowing rules: (1) Scope of borrowing: limited to the "circulating" books and materials in the library of the hospital and their accompanying materials. (2) Number of volumes: Each person is limited to one library card at a time, and the cumulative number of borrowed volumes is five volumes, and five data codes are accumulated for the accompanying materials. (3) Loan period: four weeks. (4) Renewal is not provided, and colleagues of the branch of the hospital can reserve books through the person in charge of the library of the branch. (5) In case of a temporary holiday (such as a typhoon) on the return date, the due date will be postponed by one working day. (6) Overdue return: Overdue fines for borrowed materials will be calculated based on the actual overdue days (including public holidays), and no fines will be calculated on closed days. Overdue borrowing of books and accompanying materials will result in a fine of NT$5 per BAR CODE per day. (7) The library card is borrowed in a certified way. If it is lost, the applicant should immediately notify the library of the employer, and the library will immediately notify the library of the hospital. If there is any fraudulent use, the applicant should be responsible for the books return or compensation. (8) Borrowing books should abide by the relevant regulations of the library of the hospital, otherwise, the borrowing right can be suspended or cancelled, and the library of the unit where the library card holder works can be notified. (9) Matters not covered in these regulations shall be handled in accordance with the “Regulations on the Borrowing and Borrowing Management of Collection Materials” of the Taipei Veterans General Hospital Library. |
