Regulations on Interlibrary Loan Card Management of Taipei Veterans General Hospital Library

Those who are members of the establishment of the hospital and have a reader file in the library can apply for an interlibrary loan card at the library, and borrow books from the library to which the card belongs.

The interlibrary loan card is only used as a certificate for borrowing books and applying for photocopying. In addition to this card, the card holder should prepare an additional identity document to facilitate the use of the necessary procedures for the library to which the interlibrary loan card belongs.

Each person can only apply for one library card at a time, and the use period is one month. After the expiration of the period, the borrowed books must be returned to the library. If the inter-library loan card held by the library is full, it cannot be renewed. borrow.

The use of the interlibrary loan card must abide by the library borrowing rules of the library card, overdue fines, loss compensation and other relevant regulations. If there is any violation, the loan qualification may be canceled at any time and reported to the hospital for processing.

The library card cannot be transferred to others for use. If the transfer is found, the right to borrow books will be suspended for two years, and if any situation occurs, the reader who applies for borrowing the book shall bear all responsibilities.

If the library card is lost, you should immediately notify the library and the library to which the inter-library card belongs, and pay a compensation of NT$100 (each library has special regulations, according to the regulations of each library), otherwise, if fraudulent use occurs, the library will lose money. In case of loss, the applicant for the library card shall be responsible for compensation.

During the borrowing period, if the library to which the mutual loan card belongs has special needs, it may recall the borrowed books at any time without overdue.

Borrowing and returning books must be handled at the library to which the mutual loan card belongs. The library does not accept book borrowing and returning services.
