1. The service objects of the library are mainly the employees of the library, and all readers who enter the library should actively present their identification documents.

Books and periodicals in the library are managed in an open-shelf manner, and audio-visual materials are managed in a closed-shelf manner. The following people are subject to loan:
(1) The staff of the library.
(2) Those who have served in the hospital for more than one month consecutively as interns, trainee medical staff and advanced trainees (records can be checked by the Teaching Graphics and Art Team of the Teaching and Research Department).
(3) Special staff of the hospital who have served for more than one year (an employee B in the establishment of the hospital must be named as the guarantor and fill in the guarantee letter ).
(4) The full-time research assistant of our hospital has an approved " Research Assistant Application Form ".
(5) Retired personnel of the hospital, who have received a retirement certificate (an employee B in the establishment of the hospital must be named as the guarantor and fill in the guarantee letter ).
(6) People outside the hospital who hold the "Interlibrary Book Loan Card" of the library (only for borrowing books).
3. When borrowing materials, the above-mentioned readers must handle it in person with a certificate, and others can return the books on their behalf.
4. It is forbidden to lend the certificate to others for use. If the card holder loses the borrowing card, he should report the loss to the library immediately. Anyone who violates the above regulations and causes loss or damage to the collection materials of the library shall be liable for compensation by the original certificate holder.
5. Borrowing and use of materials in the collection:
Borrowing of materials in the library cannot be renewed, and the borrower is not allowed to borrow the materials on the day of return.
(1) Books: The loan period is four weeks, and the cumulative number of borrowed books is five data codes (BAR CODE), and the accumulative number of accompanying materials is another five data codes.
(2) Periodicals:
1. For Chinese general bound periodicals, the loan period is one week, and the cumulative number of books borrowed is three data codes.
2. Professional medical periodicals and bulk periodicals are not loaned out. If there are special needs, bound periodicals can be borrowed for one day, that is, borrowed on the same day and returned before the library closes the next day. The cumulative borrowing amount is three data codes; unbound periodicals are only It can be borrowed overnight, that is, after 5 pm from Monday to Friday, after 3 pm on Saturday and Sunday, and returned before 9 am the next day. The borrowing amount is one volume.
(3) Audio-visual materials:
1. The borrowing period is seven days, and the accumulated number of borrowed materials is three data codes, and the accumulative number of accompanying materials is ten data codes.
2. Audio-visual materials cannot be borrowed and copied, and the public broadcast version cannot be displayed or played outside the campus of the hospital; the home version is limited to personal use, and public screening is not allowed. If you violate the provisions of the Copyright Law, you must bear legal responsibility.
3. The equipment provided in the audio-visual area is limited to use in the museum and cannot be borrowed. Before using the audio-visual equipment, please check whether it is in good condition. If there is any fault, please notify the librarian immediately for inspection. Do not disassemble and repair it yourself. If there is any damage, you will be responsible for repairing or compensation according to the current value.

Application for reading in the audio-visual library by people outside the hospital
(1) Borrowing time: Monday to Friday 9:00 to 21:00
, Saturday and Sunday 9:00 to 15:00
(2) People outside the hospital can apply during the borrowing time with their ID card Borrow medical audio-visual materials.
(3) People outside the hospital should abide by the regulations of the library when borrowing audio-visual materials. In case of loss, damage, etc., compensation should be made in accordance with the regulations of the library.
7. For materials on loan, readers can use the library's online public catalog or contact the circulation counter to make an appointment, with a limit of five data codes. After the reserved materials arrive at the library, the library will notify the reader by phone and email. Those who have not arrived at the library for more than three days will cancel their reservation and notify the next person who made the reservation.
8. The following materials are not loaned out of the library:
(1) Reference books (those with an R symbol above the book number)
(2) Dictionaries, thesauruses, encyclopedias, yearbooks
(3) Newspapers
(4) Handbooks, guides, directories, pamphlets
(5) Statistical tables, survey reports
(6) Table of Contents, Indexes, Abstracts ( 7
) Works of colleagues, publications of our institute, etc.
9. Borrowers should take good care of the borrowed library materials, and must not add notes, circles, smears, or tear them up. Otherwise, the library may suspend their borrowing rights for half a year. handle.
10. Borrowing library materials must be returned on time in accordance with the borrowing regulations, and the repayment period shall not be delayed for any reason (such as overseas inspections, advanced studies, long-term overseas support, etc.). until the data is returned.
11. When the employees of the hospital leave their jobs, they need to pay off the materials borrowed from the library. If they are overdue, they should pay the fines before going through the formalities of leaving the hospital. 
12. Overdue fines for library materials:
fines for overdue borrowing materials are calculated based on the actual number of overdue days (including public holidays); fines are not calculated on closed days. The fine should be paid on the spot when the book is returned. If it is not paid on the spot, it should be paid within one month at the latest. Those who have not paid in full after two months of reminders should report to the hospital for punishment and suspend their borrowing rights until they are paid and returned. After the payment, the borrowing rights will be restored.
(1) Books:
Overdue borrowing of books and accompanying materials will result in a fine of NT$5 per BAR CODE per day.
(2) Periodicals:
1. Overdue bound periodicals will be fined NT$20 per data code per day.
2. Periodicals borrowed overnight will be fined NT$20 per data code per hour.
(3) Audio-visual materials:
Overdue audio-visual materials and accompanying materials will be fined NT$20 per data code per day.

館藏資料遺失損壞賠償:
凡借閱本館館藏資料,如發生遺失、毀損等情事時,應通知圖書館註記,並辦理資料抵賠手續,國內出版品應於一個月內,國外出版品應於三個月內完成賠資料或賠款,如未能依限償還,須於到期前主動知會圖書館辦理延期(僅限一次)。各類型資料須依下列規定賠償之:
(一)圖書:
1.以自行購買同一版本或最新版本之該圖書資料(不得以翻版書取代)為原則。
2.無法購得原圖書時,得照該圖書定價兩倍賠償;若為成套圖書中之一冊或數冊無法購得時,得依遺失物件所佔成套書比例賠
償,計罰金額以原價兩倍乘以該比例計算。若無法查得該書定價時,則最低賠償金額為西文圖書每冊壹仟元,中文圖書每冊參
佰元。
(二)期刊:
1.以自行購買同一卷期之該期刊為原則。
2.無法購得原期刊時,其賠償金額得以該刊物年訂價除以期數再乘以兩倍賠償之;若無法查得該期刊定價時,則最低賠償金額為西文期刊每期參仟元,中文期刊(含大陸期刊)每期參佰元。
(三)視聽資料:
1.以購買同一版本或最新版本為原則,且不得以翻版或家庭版取
代公播版。
2.外盒若有遺失者,每一外盒得賠款新台幣壹佰元。
3.凡絕版或無法購得原資料時,得以原資料定價兩倍賠償之。全套資料若遺失其中一部份,得依遺失物件所佔全套資料比例賠償,計罰金額以原價兩倍乘以該比例計算。
4.若無法查得價錢者,則最低賠償金額為西文資料每件壹仟元,中文資料每件參佰元。
(4) Accompanying materials:

14. Stealing or intentionally tearing up: If anyone steals or intentionally tears up the library’s books and periodicals, he or she
may report to the police for investigation or report to the supervisor of the unit to sign for punishment depending on the severity of the case.
Compensation shall be made for one year of Chinese periodicals not ordered by the library (the type is determined by the library).
(2) Those who steal or tear up Western periodicals shall be compensated for two years for Chinese periodicals not ordered by the library (the type is determined by the library).
(3) Those who steal a book shall pay three times the price of the book as punishment.
15. When the library is closed to check the materials in its collection, the borrowing of the library collection will be stopped, and the borrower can be notified at any time to return the borrowed materials when necessary.
