1. The service objects of the library are mainly the employees of the hospital, and all employees should take the initiative to show their certificates when entering the library.

The collection of books in this library adopts open-shelf management, and the following personnel are the objects of borrowing books:
(1) Employees of this library who have service certificates.
(2) Medical staff who have been intern or trainee in the hospital for more than six months (recorded by the teaching group of the teaching and research department).
(3) Those who have studied in our school for more than six months (recorded by the teaching team of the Teaching and Research Department).
(4) Special physicians and consultants of the hospital who have been working for more than one year (the guarantor must be an attending physician or above in each department, and the book can be borrowed after filling out the guarantee letter). (5) The full-time research assistants of our hospital can borrow books
with the approved photocopy of the " Research Assistant Application Form ".
(6) Those who have retired from the hospital and have a retirement certificate (a full-time employee of the hospital must be named as the guarantor ) can borrow books after filling out the letter of guarantee.
3. When borrowing books, readers must hold their identification card to handle it in person, and they can ask others to return books on their behalf.

It is forbidden to lend the library certificate to others. If the cardholder loses his library card, he should report the loss to the library immediately, and apply to the original issuer for reissuance. Anyone who violates the above regulations and causes loss or damage to the library's books and periodicals shall be liable for compensation by the original certificate holder.
5. The period of borrowing books is four weeks. There are a total of five volumes to be borrowed, and a total of five accompanying materials. The loan cannot be renewed (the borrower is not allowed to borrow the book on the day of returning the book).

Professional medical periodicals and bulk periodicals are not available for lending. For special needs, bound periodicals can be borrowed for one day, that is, borrowed on the same day and returned before the library closes the next day. The cumulative borrowing volume is three volumes; unbound periodicals can only be borrowed overnight. That is, borrowing after 5:00 p.m. on the same day and returning it before 9:00 a.m. the next day, the borrowing amount is one volume, and no renewal is allowed.
7. Chinese general bound periodicals can be borrowed for a period of one week and cannot be renewed (borrowers are not allowed to borrow the periodical on the day of return), and the total number of borrowed volumes is three volumes.
8. Books and materials that have been borrowed can be reserved for borrowing.

The following materials cannot be lent out of the library:
(1) Reference books (those with an R symbol above the book number)
(2) Dictionaries, thesauruses, encyclopedias, yearbooks
(3) Newspapers
(4) Handbooks, guides, directories, pamphlets
(5) Statistical tables, survey reports
(6) Table of Contents, Indexes, Abstracts
(7) Works of colleagues, publications of the Institute, etc.
10. Borrowers shall take good care of the books lent by the library, and shall not add annotations, circles, smears, or tear them, otherwise the library may suspend their borrowing rights, and if the value of books is affected, it may be handled in accordance with Article 14 of these regulations.
11. Books borrowed from the library must be returned on time in accordance with the borrowing regulations, and the deadline for returning books shall not be delayed for any reason (such as overseas inspections, advanced studies, long-term overseas support, etc.). 
12. If you borrow books from the library, you must pay off the borrowed books when you leave your job.

Fines for overdue borrowing materials are calculated based on the actual number of overdue days, including public holidays; fines are not calculated on closed days.
(1) Overdue books will be fined NT$5 per book per day.
(2) Overdue bound periodicals will be fined NT$20 per volume per day.
(3) A fine of NT$20 per volume per hour will be imposed for overdue periodicals.
14. If the borrowed materials are overdue for more than two months, the library may suspend the borrowing rights until the materials are returned.

Anyone who borrows books and periodicals from the library, in case of loss, damage, etc., can make compensation according to the following regulations:
(1) Compensation for books and materials is based on the principle of purchasing the latest version or the same version of the books and materials, and the deadline is agreed upon in the library repay within.
(2) If the original book cannot be purchased, the compensation shall be twice the price of the book; if the price of the book cannot be found, the minimum compensation amount shall be 5,000 yuan for western books and 500 yuan for Chinese books.
(3) Compensation for periodical materials is based on the principle of purchasing the same volume of the periodical itself.
(4) If the original periodical cannot be purchased, the compensation amount can be calculated by dividing the annual price of the publication by the number of issues and multiplying by three times; if the price of the periodical cannot be found, the minimum compensation amount is one issue per issue of a western periodical One thousand yuan, and one hundred yuan per issue of Chinese periodicals.
(5) If one or several books in the set cannot be purchased separately, the set will be compensated.

Anyone who steals or intentionally damages the library's books and periodicals may report to the police for investigation or report to the supervisor of the unit to sign for punishment depending on the severity of the case. In addition: (1
) Those who steal or tear up Chinese periodicals shall be compensated for the unordered Chinese periodicals of the library for one year (category) determined by the museum).
(2) Those who steal or tear up Western periodicals shall be compensated for two years for Chinese periodicals not ordered by the library (the type is determined by the library).
(3) The person who steals the book must pay for the second volume of the book. If the book cannot be purchased, he must pay three times the price of the book.
17. In order to avoid damage to books and periodicals, readers are not allowed to bring food and drinks (except plastic bottles) into the library, and those who violate the rules may refuse to enter the library.
18. The library is closed regularly every year to check the books, and the borrowing of books is suspended during this period.
19. The library may notify the borrower to take back the borrowed books and periodicals at any time when necessary.
20. This provision shall be promulgated and implemented after approval, and the same shall apply when it is revised.
