| one. | In order to cooperate with the collection development policy of the library of the hospital and to provide a basis for the ordering of single periodicals, the subscription regulations for single periodicals are specially formulated. |
| two. | These regulations apply to single-subscribe periodicals such as Chinese and Western periodicals, mainland periodicals, including paper and electronic periodicals. All packaged full-text electronic periodical databases do not apply to this regulation. |
| three. | Subscription of Western periodicals is based on the list of core periodicals of each department. Chinese and mainland periodicals are submitted by each unit with the "Journal Application Form". Subject to the library's funding, the subscription will be approved by the hospital. |
| Four. | The important periodicals of interdisciplinary departments (evaluated according to various factors such as journal impact coefficient and utilization rate) are uniformly ordered by the library continuously. |
| five. | In order to control funds, journal subscriptions are based on the principle of no increase. If each department wants to add new periodicals, it must delete the equivalent periodicals from the original list of core periodicals of the department. |
| six. | This provision shall be promulgated and implemented after it is approved, and the same shall apply when it is revised. |
