In 1985 the first in-vitro fertilized (IVF) baby was born in Taiwan under the supervision of our REI team. With rich experience, our REI division is one of the best fertility centers in Taiwan. We treat all types of infertile couples and provide oocyte cryopreservation service. Tailored and customized protocols are individually designed to prevent OHSS. In special cases, pre-implantation genetic diagnosis is readily available. With the cooperation of urologists and techniques such as micro-dissection TESE, we have successfully overcome azoospermia induced infertility and have achieved a pregnancy rate around 35-38% per cycle. In 2021, the first round spermatid injection (ROSI) baby in Taiwan was born. Ongoing research is being done on treatment for poor ovarian response, oocyte quality improvement, and embryo implantation mechanisms.
