The office assists in organizing the committee on Occupational Safety and Health  according to the Occupational Safety and Health Law. The superintendant of Taipei Veterans General Hospital serves as the Chair of the committee, the deputy superintendant as the Deputy Chair, and the Office director as the Executive Secretary. One personnel from each first-degree department, one from the Radiation Protection Committee, six from the Employee/Employer Committee and all the personnel of the OSH Office constitute the members of the committee. The total number of the committee ranges from 50 to 70. Two years for each term of office, all members are responsible for the promotion and supervision of the relevant matters on occupational safety and health. The Office assists in holding the committee meeting every 3 months. The decision of last meeting should be reviewed and followed, and problems related to OSH should be discussed.
