The Children Kidney Care Center of Taipei Veterans General Hospital is the only Child-oriented renal disease care center in Taiwan. The core value of our top medical team is Healthy and Harmonious future. The “Healthy and Harmonious” care model can improve medical quality. This holistic approach is based on a combination of top-notch fundamental study and clinical research-based applications. With young patients as the center, 3D dialysis tools, virtual reality, 5D music therapy, and remote care are used to boost medical quality. The next generation genetic analysis provides, not only, early detection, timely intervention, and active treatment, but also, preventive care. Various pediatric nephrology research are conducted by outstanding medical personnel in pediatric specialized labs. Research results from dialysis, in particular, have been cited by international publications. In the future, a continuation of research-based medical applications will be used to advance in “Healthy and Harmonious” medical care team.
