-The first living donor kidney transplantation which the husband donated one kidney to his wife was completed.

-The first simultaneous pancreas and kidney transplantation was completed.

-The first living donor liver transplantation in TPEVGH was completed, and it's also the first living-donor liver transplantation for Budd–Chiari syndrome in Taiwan.

-The first pediatric living donor liver transplantation for congenital abnormal nitrogen metabolism in TPEVGH was completed.

-The functional Team of Transplantation Surgery was established.

-Organ Transplantation team was invited to the National Children's Hospital of Hanoi for living-donor liver transplantation.
-The first cadaveric domino liver transplantation in Taiwan was completed.

-Organ Transplantation team was invited to Vietnam twice for liver transplantation in a 16-year-old boy with cirrhosis caused by unknown metabolic bile stagnation.

-The first experience in global that mother with Dubin-Johnson syndrome donating the partial liver to her baby with Methylmalonic Acidemia was completed.

-The first APOLT (Auxiliary Partial Orthotopic Liver Transplantation) in Taiwan was completed.

-The first simultaneous liver and kidney transplantation in TPEVGH was completed.

-The first living donor domino liver transplantation in Taiwan was completed.

-Division of Transplantation Surgery was formally founded.

-The first living donor liver transplantation for the patient with homocystinuria in global was completed.

-The first non-heartbeat organ donation in Taiwan was completed.

-The first small bowel transplantation in TPEVGH was completed.
