Dr. Lee, a board certificated psychiatrist for both adult psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry, graduated from School of Medicine of National Taiwan University. The major interests of Dr. Lee include psychiatric rehabilitation for chronic mental disorder and psychiatric evaluation for gender identity disorders. Her expertise includes diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders including depression, anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder,bipolar disorder,  mood disorder,insomnia,  schizophrenia, gender identity disorder (transsexualism). Dr. Lee is now the chief of department of psychiatry of Taipei Veterans General Hospital.
