The Emergency Department consists of Emergency Medicine, Trauma Medicine, Disaster Medicine and Emergency Intensive Care Center. Operations include emergency and trauma treatment of internal medicine, surgery, gynecology and pediatrics. There are also exclusive ENT, ophthalmology, and dental clinics with the ED, which are convenient for emergency consultation and emergency treatment. Provide rapid and accurate emergency diagnostic tools such as various imaging examinations such as X-ray, ultrasound, and computerized tomography.

The department currently has 42 physicians, including 1 department chief, 3 department directors, 22 attending physicians, 5 clinical fellows and 11 residents. (111/09/1 stats)

The department is responsible for the emergency medicine course of National Yang Ming University. The faculty includes 2 professors, 2 associate professors, 6 assistant professors, 6 lecturers, and a total of 16 faculty members appointed by the Ministry of education. (111/09/1 stats)
