Health Information

Holistic and Multidisciplinary Medicine provided multiple “Shared Decision Making (SDM)” for patient education. The term SDM was first introduced in 1982 in the US to bring the patient’s best interests for medical care. In our unit, we established the SDM concept in clinical practice to ensure patients are well-informed and educated to make important clinical decisions. We proved adequate evident-based information and comprehensive discussions according to patients’ clinical needs. The nature of SDM is based on respect and patient-centered. We value each patient and share the medical knowledge required to make a conclusive decision for the patient’s treatment.
