Overview
Skull base is an intracranial region which composes critical neruovascular structures. Lesions there can induce several neurological deficit, even life-threatening if left untreated. At out hospital, we have one of the best experienced skull base teams, which can treat this kind of patient properly with good prognosis.

The purpose of skull base surgery is to relieve neurovascular compression, extend life expectancy, and get pathological proof.
Procedure
We will combine with doctor from rehabilitation departemnt for intra-operative neuromonitoring(IONM), which can facilitate avoiding harming critical structures. Post-operative ICU admission is mandatory for at least 1 day. Total length of stay will be around 5-7 days.

1. Post-op hemorrhage
2. Infection
3. Hydrocephalus
4. Temporary or permanent neurological deficit
Which then these complications may cause the patient to receive subsequent operation or medical services.
