The division of plastic and reconstructive surgery of Taipei Veterans General Hospital set up 4 burn beds in 1970, which moved to 19th floor of Chung Cheng Building in 1989 and expanded to burn center consists of burn ICU, burn ward and OPD operation room in 1991. The medical team provided high-quality care under the guidance of Chief Yu-Hung King, Chief Rong-Hwang Fang and Chief Hsu Ma. The majority of inpatients are moderate to severe burn patients.
