As a national medical center, Taipei VGH has three-fold missions of providing high quality services, education and research. Recognizing that effective clinical education lays the foundation for future development of medical manpower, we established the Department of Medical Education for ongoing improvement of clinical education. Under the Department, we have two divisions, Teaching Affairs Administration and Clinical Skills Training Center, weighing their tasks heavily to service and educate the students placed into the hospital settings for internship or practicum training.

We provide the variety of clerkship, internship or practicum programs for medical students or students from disciplines related to medical practices such as pharmacy, nursing, clinical laboratory sciences, dietetics & nutrition, imaging & radiological sciences, clinical psychology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, biomedical engineering, healthcare administration and medial social work, etc...
