Director Jei-Wen Chang receives the "Young Physician Education and Dedication Award"

The 111th Retired Servicemen Counseling Committee for North Region Medical and Care Facilities, along with the Taipei Veterans General Hospital Physician's Day celebration, was held at 9:30 am on November 9th at the Introducing Longevity Hall of the Taipei Veterans General Hospital. The event was hosted by President Wei-Ming Chen of Taipei Veterans General Hospital, and Deputy Minister of Health and Welfare Bi-sheng Wang delivered a speech and presented the awards.

In order to improve medical standards and service quality, safeguard public health, promote the spirit of love and charity, establish exemplary physicians, inspire morale, and encourage medical ethics, Taipei Veterans General Hospital holds an annual Excellent Physician Recognition Conference. During the conference, awards such as the "Excellent Physician Award" from the Retired Servicemen Counseling Committee, the "Physician Education and Dedication Award," the "Physician Innovation (Improvement) Award," the "Physician Academic Paper Award," the "Outstanding Clinical Teaching Physician Award," and the "Resident Physician Apricot Award" are presented. To encourage young and outstanding physicians, this year, two new awards were added: the "Outstanding Paper Award for Medical Education and Academic Innovation" and the "Young Physician Education and Dedication Award." Dr. Jei-Wen Chang, the general director of the pediatric department, received the "Young Physician Education and Dedication Award" honor.
